Janice Boyd, what an awesome piece of Gold Ruby your perfume is! People have always loved Gold Ruby. It never went in and out of popularity. So far with my eyes and studies I see three shades of Gold Ruby. A very light pink, a medium tone, and a very dark tone. What I like to call your piece is Pale Rose and Blue. The middle shade of color. All are a formula of Gold Ruby. During the period of years it was popular to mix the medium shade of Gold Ruby with a beautiful shade of Blue here is what Steuben called it. See in the line drawing they called it Pale Rose and Blue. The reason they called your shade of color “Pale Rose” is because there is a darker Rose shade of Gold Ruby that is as dark as Selenium Red. It is referred to in the factory records simply as Rose. Rande Bly
