Some Thoughts

Regarding David C-B’s Burmese plate, as you probably know both Mt. Washington in New Bedford MA and Webb in England made Burmese items, however I am not aware of either making large plates like this and also the shading from yellow to salmon was always very subtle. In the 20th C Pairpoint Corp. in MA made Burmese including plates like this. As opposed to the 19th C pieces, Pairpoint did not control the heat as well so they got this abrupt transition from yellow to salmon. So, if your plate is not Steuben (which I cannot tell you) it may well be Pairpoint.
