Thank You For Sharing

All of my pieces hold a very special place in my heart and home. We live and use them every day as with the new purchase of this Pineapple luminor. I just purchased at the Carder dinner auction. Just beautiful!

Happy collecting!

David Sherwood

Pineapple featured in Collector’s Choice by The Rockwell Museum, Number 29. “Since the start-up of the Steuben Glass Works, Frederick Carder had always been fascinated with the use of light to illuminate his glass.” “However, as fashion changed, so did lighting, and indirect accent lighting gradually became popular. Carder was quick to respond, and around 1928 he introduced Steuben’s luminors. He created variations using the basic shapes of a round ball and a ‘pineapple’.”
