Repairs
from Dean Powlus
I always use Charles Sorrels. His repairs have always been perfect. He can remove cloudiness from glass pieces. I’ve been using him for quite a few years now. (267) 261-6289.
No Credit Cards
Auction Chair, Mark Chamovitz reminds you that credit cards can’t be taken for at the Symposium’s Saturday night auction.
The Colors of Elephants
from David Sherwood
In response to the question if they made any other colors of the cast elephant on the ball, the answer is yes they did! As a young man in Corning and working on Market St. I met several people. One person being the elder Mrs.Houghton. She had a chauffeur driven Dark green Mercedes. The hood ornament was the exact elephant only colorless clear matte finish. She would park the car in front of Charles Ray Jewelers to do her shopping . I mesmerized by the sight! To this day I wish I could find an elephant like that one!
Beth Shaut says I have seen the Elephant in Wisteria, & Clear.
