We misinterpreted the link below that John was referring to. Perhaps, this is the correct link.

Venetian Style

from John Styler

I am sure we all received the Feb. 1; Venetian Style to home from CMOG.

This was probably the most interesting I have ever received from CMoG; after spending more than 5 hours going from link to link learning the goings on at CMOG and their off site ventures even to ships at sea.

Clicking on the table of content opens a guide to objects and techniques on the right. Just click on anyone of the beautiful objects with a circle with a T over it, I just sat back sit back and was amazed.

The Studio demonstrations are great as I watched the longest and most interesting but a Facebook notice came in and I was not able to see the finished masterpiece; I don’t do social media and can’t get rid of face book interruptions so I’ll search that demonstration again to watch to see the end art product being made.
There are masters of glass even today, maybe not with a corporation like Steuben, Tiffany, Lalique or whomever but there are glass masters here and now creating one of a kind pieces for our future if not our offspring’s and theirs.

It was great to see the masterpieces they create with molten glass and a breath!
