Morris Museum
Alan –
I visited the Morris Museum in Morristown, New Jersey to see their glass exhibit “Clearly Compelling: Glass Art from Tiffany to Chihuly.” For Symposium attendees, there were many familiar names represented in the exhibit – Max Erlacher, Eric Hilton, John Littleton and Kate Vogel, and, of course, Frederick Carder, among others. The exhibit runs through December 6.

Q and A
Q. Greetings Alan
Can you provide me with any information regarding the figural cameo vase in the photo with the Carder console set ? The image isn’t very clear and I can not even be certain of the color.
Thanks and best wishes to you

A. The piece of blue and white glass next to the console set is a cameo carved vase done by Max Erlacher. It is not Steuben glass.
