Dear Alan:

I am the Historian and Archivist of the National Westmoreland Glass Collectors’ Club as well as the club’s webmaster. I am also the President of the Westmoreland Glass Society which is a separate smaller club.

Here is the link to the information I found. You will note the letters back and forth from Irving Cary with Steuben and Douglas Stewart, Curator for Carnegie as well as correspondence by Stewart with other companies including Westmoreland, Heisey, Fry, etc., regarding the industrial arts exhibit. Charles West, President of the Westmoreland Glass Company and Stewart knew each other since both were from Pittsburgh.
