During the three decades Carder was in charge of the Steuben Glass Works, thousands of styles in hundreds of colors were produced. A mingling of styles was made in the classical, some in the Art Nouveau and some in the Art Deco Styles. The popular designs continued in production for many years.

In 1932, as tastes were changing, the Carder era came to an end. A colorless, brilliant optical-quality glass formula was created for fashionable blown, cut and engrave which is still being produced.
