Alan the posting of “Behind the Scenes at Auction: what drives the estimate by David Rago” was a most interesting read, That dealer must be furious with EBay’s pricing.
Not being a dealer I can appreciate their overhead has to enter into the equation on pricing and as the auction house has similar overhead and takes a loss if the item doesn’t sell.
