The Tell All Signature
from Leigh Alan Demrow of Janesville, WI
Alan,
Mr. Pescatore’s yellow pitcher is signed on the bottom “H1888/100”. The Hoglund/Boda yellow pitcher is signed on the bottom “H1238/50”, both are similar signatures and we know that one is Hoglund’s.
What’s in a Name?
from June Riccio of Alamo, CA
Regarding “Mandarin” Yellow versus “Chinese” Yellow, I would suggest both names are meant to identify this same color. As for these items shown being Yellow Jade, I believe that is another color entirely as displayed here.

Questions
from Rande Bly of Birmingham, AL
Wow that is so beautiful June Riccio. Did yours make it with no cracks? Yes agreed. In person Mandarin is very uniform in color. In photo’s I see both a canary yellow and a honey mustard depending on the reflection of the lighting.
Does anybody have a shape date chart? I noticed the shapes for Mandarin range from about 2,500 to just over 5,000 so Carder was turning out Mandarin for quite some time? Do we know when the low 5,000 shapes came out? Wilson Craig do you have anything?
