Hi Alan — Very sad news. Marshall taught one of my grad school classes (initially via Museum of American Folk Art), where he and Gerry Wertkin used all the Armory shows as teachable moments. We wouldn’t have had this splendid web site without him. He was a great teacher and a great and gracious professional. I’m really sorry. Beth Jacques, Brooklyn

Witness to the Battle
