SYMPOSIUM REMINDERS
Final preparations are almost complete for the Symposium next week and we are expecting it to be a memorable one. Two quick reminders.
First, don’t forget to bring your CMoG membership card. It facilitates access to the Museum and will ensure that you get the member’s discount if you do any shopping in the GlassMarket.
Second, you will need cash or a check to pay for any lots you win in the auction following the banquet Saturday night. We do not accept credit cards.
If you have any last minute questions, send them to the Symposium Chair, Bonnie Salzman, at bsalzman@msn.com.

Celeste Blue – Steuben
Of the blue crystals made by Steuben, this appears to be the lightest shade, being both brilliant and iridized. A great variety of objects were produced, most commonly in the vertical ribbed and diamond quilted patterns. Celeste Blue is a homogeneous glass and is not cased with clear crystal. Blue was popular with the public; thus, it should be easy to locate many interesting shapes.
