Issue 1925
I found something interesting while researching a line drawing. On page 158 of the Gardner book is the drawing #2622. When I enter the web site for this number a different piece is shown which is a vase, also #2622! Are there any photos of the piece on page 158? I think I have something similar but my piece has a handle.
Thanx much.

Dean, in Marshall Ketchum’s book, Frederick Carder’s Steuben Glass, he points out that #2622 as pictured in the Gardner Shape index, is a mistake and should be #2625, as pictured above. You might send a picture of your piece to Marshall Ketchum. If it is a piece of shape #2625 it can be another important addition to the web site.

A Peek
Hi All,
Thank you so much for posting my video to the members. Corning is the best place in the world and the studio allows us all to take a peek inside the world of artists and how they create their work. Carder would have loved this!

P.S. I always encourage my students to go into the Carder room at the Studio, they always tell me they love going in there and enjoy it very much!
