Kathleen Hopkins of Red Bank, New Jersey asked about a blue olive dish pictured in the collection of Steuben at the Wichita Museum. From this we’ve learned that modern Steuben (post 1933) while primarily colorless, did produce a few colored pieces of glass. Kathleen replies to this learning experience. “WOW! Board member, John Styler of Prospect Heights, Illinois reports that the DVD’s picturing the Reifschlager Gallery at the Rockwell Museum (dissembled about the year 2000) is going into the mails for those who have continued their memberships or newly join. Keep an eye out for them. When you receive it pay particular attention to stamps on your package. Haven’t signed up yet, go the Club’s website. (see below)
