Lisa Ackerman of Orange, California sent along this tidbit. We keeping reminding you that the Club’s website, www.cardersteubenclub.org is a powerful resource in identifying Carder glass as well as other educational tools. The Club is, indeed, proud of the completeness and power of this site. However, when others take note, well we just have to share and do a little boasting.

On Sunday our little glass club met. The main focus of our interest is Elegant Glass from the 20s-40s era. One member (unprompted by either Michael Krumme or myself) gave a wonderful testimony as to the wonders of the Carder Steuben website.

2013 Carder Steuben Club annual Symposium will be held at The Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, NY from September 19-21, 2013. The festivities will begin with Frederick Carder’s 150th birthday celebration on the evening of September 18, 2013.
