I have added an new section to the website that is called Etched Patterns. It has a short set of introductory paragraphs that give a brief explanation of Carder’s acid etching technique. It includes two documents in .pdf format. The first is an expansion of the list of acid etched patterns found in the Gardner book beginning on page 117. It lists the acid etched patterns in alphabetical order in one column and the shape numbers that those patterns were known to have been made in in a second column. A third column is used to locate drawings or photos of those patterns where a photo or drawing is known to exist.
The second document is a reverse of the first one and has the shape numbers in numerical order in the first column with the etched patterns listed in the second. The third column is used to locate drawing or photos.
The documentation for another section on the website for cut and engraved patterns is currently be developed. I would welcome questions or comments.
