This year will be the third time that the Symposium has included a glass show and sale focused on Carder Steuben. We continue to modify the format of the show based on the feedback we get from Symposium attendees, including the participating dealers.
We are going to make several significant changes this year:
First and foremost, we are moving the show from Thursday to Friday to make it easier for all symposium attendees to come to the show.
Second, we are adding a new feature to the show. Symposium attendees may bring collectible glass to sell at one or more Club-provided tables under the following rules:
1. Each attendee is limited to offering no more than six pieces of glass.
2. The glass may not be Steuben (either Carder or Modern).
3. The pieces offered at the show may not then be placed in Saturday’s auction.
4. Each piece must be marked with a price and a way to identify the owner.
5. The Club will retain 15% of the price of each piece that is sold.
If you would like more information about participating in the Show either with your own table(s) or on the Club-provided tables, please contact either Lon Knickerbocker or Scott Hansen (hngseh@aol.com).
The complete Symposium program is available on our website, http://www.cardersteubenclub.org/, together with Symposium registration information and forms.
