Charles Sweigart of Reinholds, Pennsylvania gives his two cents worth on bubble wrap.

in defense of bubble wrap;

I have almost exclusively wrapped my merch. in bubble wrap for over 20 years. Many items have been stored that long in an unheated storage facility which gets unbearably hot in summer and freezing in winter. Never have I encountered any attachment to any surface. The only negative effect ever seen is the tendency to tarnish polished sterling surfaces. This includes clear as well as colored antistatic wraps. I still think paper first then bubble for shipping is best even though just bubble is used for my inventory.

thank you

Dear Alan,

I think our website sets an outstanding example to other glass collecting groups, not to mention museums.
