Yours truly will be speaking on Carder Steuben this coming May 23 in Wilmette, Illinois to The Midwestern Antiques Club. Hopefully, a few of you on this e-mail list will find it convenient to attend.

The Early Auction on April 6-7 shows once again that prices are still “flat”.
The “better” Steuben items brought fair results : A gold Aurene vase decorated with millifiori went for $2250. A rare New Intarsia $4000. and the rare bust figure went for $3250.
Maybe this is the new real world.
