Josh Cohn of Great Barrington, Massachusetts sends out this call for help.

Hi,

I’m trying to find out some information about a possible piece of Steuben crystal. Would anyone know if Steuben ever produced a footed bowl in crystal engraved with the seals of the original 13 states plus the national seal encircling the bowl? I recently saw a piece marked as Steuben, engraved with the aforementioned details and bearing an engraved signature for the JE Caldwell retailer. However, I did not see a Steuben signature.

Would anyone know if this was a special order item made by Steuben or not one of their designs. I was not able to get a picture of the piece unfortunately, but still need any help possible.
