Judy Morton of Newburgh, Indiana passes along her story of how she found Steuben. Judy will once again be joining us at this year’s Symposium later this week.

Hi Friends

Thank you Alan for you highly informative e mails regarding the Gazette and the Up to date news of our club. You have made it such fun to be a member, Thank you for the fun I have enjoyed as a member of the Carder Steuben Club. You and Susan give life to the organization through your passion And knowledge of the “0BJECTS OF DESIRE”. Your book, by that title Inspired me to begin my collection. When I sat in your firm waiting for the Appointment my husband Tom and I had scheduled with you and due to Our early arrival I had time to view your book by that name I loved the Beautiful glass objects in your collection and I was hooked. The colors And graceful shapes appealed to my artistic nature and pictured there In your photographs were beautiful embellishments of life. Your pictures Full of joy brought pleasure and inspiration. Just as you went to Tom Dimitroff in Corning, I learned from you and Susan and my prize bowl Is one that was once in your collection and pictured in your book.

It is a treasure and is more to me than a beautiful bowl.

You and your darling wife are special friends. Thank you for sharing your Knowledge and leadership with the members of the CSClub.

Love, Judy
