Michael Krumme asked a question this morning about the two perfumes on the left—are they Steuben?

The answers provided are:

Good eye. The perfume that looks copper-covered is in fact a very unusual copper overlay. It is on a green glass which is hard to see because of the copper, which completely covers the foot. It may or not be Steuben; it’s a mystery piece. The atomizer is Fry. It is opal with a blue foot and is lightly engraved.

The Carder Steuben Club Show is not limited to Steuben but dealers are required to have at least 75% Carder Steuben material. Because the Symposium includes several presentations on perfumes and engraving, dealers may want to bring other perfumes and engraved items.
