Lon Knickerbocker of Dansville, New York will put a guilt trip on some of you.

Good afternoon Alan,

As you know I recently purchased a new computer and a droid phone, I also changed internet providers. With this change comes a lot of work, putting info. from one computer to the other etc. In doing this work and being treasurer of Carder Steuben Club I was going through a lot of old e-mails to see if I really needed to keep them and I began to notice something. I then went to the last month of my newsletter e-mails from you and I noticed the same thing, there are a lot of people out there who actively participate in the newsletter but don’t belong to our group. I guess I’m asking, why not?, it can’t be our dues, what is $35 a year for everything we offer and the great things we do, it can’t be that we make it hard to join, so what is it?

We have almost 200 members, currently standing at 176. I am hopeful by year’s end we can get to the 200 member total. We have a great organization and we are doing a lot of good things, supporting projects and museums. I hope if your reading this you will join and support the Carder Steuben club today.

Have a Steuben kind of day,

Lon Knickerbocker, Treasurer, Carder Steuben Club
