A report from the current Steuben company.
STEUBEN INTRODUCES NEW CRYSTAL GLASS COLLECTION: LUMINESCENCE. After 75 years, Steuben, http://steuben.com/, is thrilled to announce the return of colored crystal. While looking back to its past for direction, Steuben has taken a whole new path as it expands into contemporary color crystal design. Using classic Steuben pieces, Luminescence launches with ten pieces in three subtle yet rich shades, Indigo, Sunset and Smoke, each colored piece accented by touches of pure clear crystal.
CORNING MUSEUM OF GLASS – Steuben is proud to announce that The Corning Museum of Glass is recognizing their achievement by adding three Luminescence pieces to the permanent collection – the SMOKE OLIVE DISH, INDIGO SPIRAL BOWL and the SUNSET TRILIUM BOWL.
A FULL CIRCLE IN COLORED CRYSTAL ART GLASS – Since the early 30s, Steuben has been dedicated to the striking beauty inherent in its creation of the world’s finest clear, pure crystal.
“We are thrilled to introduce color to some of our most popular pieces bringing yet another element of design to the new Steuben.” – Steuben President Mark Samitt
PHARMAKINETIC PARTNERSHIP – In addition to the Luminescence collection, an inspired collaboration with painter Ross Blecker produced three exclusive designs signed by the artist.
ART, CRYSTAL, COLOR & LIGHT uniquely interact to display a visual sensation, and that’s why Steuben is proud to release the Luminescence collection. It is our afternoon rainbow shining across the sky.
