Bea Weiskopf is correct that Ivory is the color of custard glass and not yellow. Yellow Jade is made with a base glass of Alabaster. I have not heard to my knowledge what the base glass for Ivory is. Ivory seems too translucent to be made from a colored Flint White base and not translucent enough to be from Alabaster. I wonder if it is a form of colored Calcite?

I am happy with either a mold or mould to mould the molded pieces as long as they were not put away wet and started moulding. Yes apparently fungi that grow in the form of multicellular filaments also carries both spellings. I guess Carder could have even molded a piece of architectural moulding in his day….
