Dealer Charles Sweigart of Reinholds, Pennsylvania gives his opinion on the Miami Beach Show
They closed the 3rd room but eliminated much more than “new” merch. At least 2/3 of the room contained antiques. I was in that room the last 2 years and was one of the eliminated dealers. I sell no new goods. They obviously closed the room because in this economy they decided they could not fill it after not getting enough re-ups at the last show. This is the same thing you see at shows across the country as evidenced by the description of the CA show in a previous post.
