Issue 699
We are back in Florida after a most-enjoyable long weekend in Corning for what was, in my opinion, our best symposium ever.
As the new president of the Club, I want to again extend my thanks to Scott Hansen for the work he and his committee did in putting the Symposium together. I also want to extend my thanks to Alan Shovers for his leadership of our Club for the last four years. I am pleased to report that Alan has agreed to continue running our blog, the Gazelle Gazette.
Our club membership is at an all-time high and I believe that the web site and blog are the key factors behind for our membership growth and retention. Keep in mind that we are doing this at a time when the economy has taken its toll on most collector organizations.
We have already begum planning next year’s symposium and are also looking at expanding and adding features to the web site. If you have any comments or suggestions, please email them to me at elvidant@aol.com.
Thank you for your support and participation.
