Bea Weiskopf asks whether a mark or signature on a piece of clearly Steuben glass adds value to the piece. Beth Shaut answers.
I think the most important thing is that it is Steuben not if it’s mark. Although it is nice to have signatures, we don’t let that affect the value. We price pieces as to what we have to pay for them and the cost of running the shop not because they are or aren’t signed.
