I have heard that when Hawkes did cutting or engraving on a Steuben Verre De Soie blank, they always signed it with Hawkes or the Hawkes logo. If a cut or engraved Verre De Soie piece is not signed, can I assume that it was done at Steuben?

Did the same cutters and engravers work for Hawkes and Steuben, making the above question meaningless?
