More on color

From Vivienne Richards of Ontario, Canada.
I have been enjoying the discussion on colors immensely. I commend the good folks who have contributed information, and value the input on colors on the club website.

I would certainly support purchase of equipment for Mr. Merkel’s research, whether it be a colorimeter or just the pantone chips.
While this e-mail process may be a little cumbersome on dealing with a subject such as color, a lot is being learned by those interested. The bottom line is that our webmaster is accumulating the information and adding to the Club’s website additional information on colors that then becomes a permanent reference for all to see. Webmaster Mark Buffa of Detroit says:
I will take Rande’s list and make sure all the colors are listed in the Web Site color page. There are a couple that I do not ever remember seeing in the documents so I hope someone will come forward and point them out with proper documentation.
I should have a Smoke and Celeste Blue Jade page up today as with updating the list of colors.

Finally, Rande Bly responds to David Donaldson’s question.
David Donaldson I will see if I can tell the little I know about the experimental Intarsia 1916-17 in the next e-mail.
